Gambia Education:
In Gambia, primary education is compulsory and primary education is free so that everyone can receive primary education. But this education is difficult to implement due to lack of infrastructure. Primary education is completed at the age of 6 for which children have to start school at the age of seven and higher education is completed at the age of 3 and 9 years of continuous basic education is provided. At the age of 13, students are required to enter high primary school at the age of 16 and receive a certificate in 10 subjects with examinations in basic education. Another type of school system, including lower primary schools and upper primary schools, conducts educational activities in The Gambia.
