Namibia Education :

Primary education is free in Namibia, and secondary education has been made free and compulsory. In Namibia, education is usually conducted at three levels: Grade 1-7, Primary, Grade 8-12. NIED promotes the development of educational activities, educational research, and the professional development of teachers. Most of the schools are run by the Namibian government but there are some private schools that are run according to the rules and regulations of the government. The three universities are Namibia University, International University of Management, and Namibia University of Science and Technology. There are three agricultural colleges, including a police training college, and four training universities. Before independence, Namibia worked to strengthen racism rather than social and economic development, and there was a huge gap between resources and education in the country. But after independence a unified structure of social and economic development was created in Namibia and played an important role in resources and education in the country. At present in Namibia the government builds a joint structure for a good budget and a large part of the country’s GDP is spent.
